BOSCA (Broomhill Out of School Care Association) is a non-profit limited company managed by volunteers which provides before and after-school care for a total of 176 pupils who attend Broomhill Primary School in Glasgow.
The average daily attendance is up to 80. We have five full-time and nine part-time members of staff and two sessional. The manager is Beverly Anderson, who joined in 1992 when her children attended the school.
Our mission statement is:
”We at BOSCA seek to provide an excellent service to meet the needs of both children and their parents. To help maximise each child’s potential by offering both stimulating games and activities that aid physical, intellectual, emotional and social development in a happy, exciting and caring environment. We will work in accordance with relevant legislation and will respond promptly to improvements as proposed.”
BOSCA also provides great well planned and varied holiday cover. In-service days, mid-term breaks, Easter and summer holidays are all covered and extend the same winning formula of after-school care to full days. Day trips can be local or involve coach trips out to great locations such as Heads of Ayr Park, Edinburgh Zoo, Blair Drummond. Check with the BOSCA team for more information and costs.

BOSCA and the proposed rebuild
