Summer Fayre 2013 & FET Roundup

Months of planning and organisation go into the Summer Fayre with only a core team of 6 members.  We had a very generous response of donations for the raffle, tombola, books and toys.  A big thank you goes out to all the volunteers, parents/carers, teachers, school staff and Tom our Janitor, who helped us to set up, run stalls, take photographs and clear up on the night, without your help we would be unable to run such a successful event.

The Summer Fayre is a community event enjoyed by all the children, their families, friends and the local residents.  We value your support and love to hear all the positive feedback on how much you enjoy and look forward to the event every year. We would also like to thank all the local business who supported the school, by donating gifts to the raffle and running stalls.

We would like to thank everyone who supported this year’s Summer Fayre – we raised a fabulous £4162 profit!

This year we sadly say goodbye to one of our longest serving members Alison Morton who has been part of the Fundraising and Events Team for many years. During this time she has taken on many roles and responsibilities, we thank her for all her hard work and hope that with some persuasion she will return every year to do the famous tombola at the Summer Fayre!  We also say goodbye and thank you to Juanita Rawson who has undertaken uniform sales over the past few years and to all the Primary 7 parents and carers who have given up their time to help at discos, run events, create yearbooks or cook delicious burgers!

THANK YOU

This Year we have raised a fabulous £7,300

WELL DONE!
